What the tape says this morning
Six days after Jonathan Wilke shipped outbid.lol in three hours, the original still holds $219,073 of $280,604 in sourced board revenue - 78%. Public ledgers put visitors past 1.34 million, listings around 1,389, and the #1 seat at $17,000 (see.io). The founder is calling the category "attention markets." The clones called it a template.
afford.bid is re-reading fifteen live boards every three minutes and has 332 names on the list. bidfeed.lol publishes a sourced table of nineteen. bidzoo.lol puts a conservation status on each cage. outbid.fyi is selling $150 sponsor slots on a 263-board index. The meta-layer is now denser than the original mechanic.
The actual #2 is not a clone
1milllionpixels.com - MakerThrive's Million Dollar Homepage rebuild - is the second pile of money. bidfeed sources $33,000; bidzoo's live grid reads much higher. Either way it is not a leaderboard. It is pixels. The $42 outbid.lol buy that sent 64,000 people at the grid is the first clean receipt that the original is a distribution pipe, not just a vanity rank.
Among boards that actually auction rank, warmap.lol is #2: about $6,500 in, 194 bids, $540 to hold a country at 1.5× takeover. Then a tight cluster of niches with buyers - topapp.lol (~$3k), tinystartups.com, premierdelaclasse.lol, bidyourapp.com. Straight .lol copies with no audience are empty. That is the whole lesson, and it was visible by day three.
Mechanics that are not just a new domain
Decay (lastspot.lol at 5%/day, topple.lol draining on time and clicks) is trying to make #1 affordable again. Refunding (frontpage.sh) pays you for losing. outnumber.lol multiplies dollars by referred visitors so money alone cannot buy the top. payluck.lol locks a coupon so nobody can outbid you. bidclub.lol runs a two-up fight and does not print the payer. lamborghini.lol is selling panels on a car.
None of those have the original's tape. They have a rule. The rule is the product now. A new .lol with the same cumulative bid is a domain, not a board.
What BidCon is for, this week
The scrape directories will keep adding names until the list is a joke. BidCon is the free room: boards with money, a mechanic, or an audience, plus anyone who wants to list. Owners can claim.
