BidCon (bidcon.lol) is a publisher and conference. We sell timed advertising placements on our own pages (chairs) and season sponsor seats. We also host a free directory of other sites. We do not operate those other sites. We do not sell traffic, clicks, SEO, rankings as a prize, or the right to knock a sitting advertiser off mid-term.
A chair is advertising space BidCon owns. You buy a lock term (72 hours on chairs 1-10, 48 hours on 11-30). You do not buy the chair. When the term ends, BidCon may sell it again. Your listing may move to Alumni. No refund because the term ended. Next open price is last cleared amount plus 20% unless we post a different reserve. Payment is due as billed. You warrant you have the right to the brand, URL, and logo you submit.
The live stream is public. A founding seat is a roster and reminder list, not a ticket door, not admission control, and not a promise of airtime.
Free listings are submitted by you. We may approve, reject, feature, or remove listings that are illegal, fraudulent, or off-genre. We are not responsible for linked sites.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS. We do not warrant uptime, impressions, clicks, revenue, or any result. Make-good for chairs: if bidcon.lol homepage is down more than 2 hours during a paid lock, we extend the lock by that downtime. Money does not come back.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, BIDCON AND ITS OPERATOR ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A PAID PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THAT PRODUCT IN THE 30 DAYS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
You will defend and indemnify BidCon against claims arising from your listing, logo, URL, content, or your use of the service, including IP and publicity claims.
Chair and season invoices are due as stated. Founding-list $1.99 if enabled is a roster fee, not a ticket. Chargebacks for completed advertising terms may be contested. You authorize us to display your submitted name, URL, and logo for the term and in Alumni.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue: state or federal courts in California, except we may seek injunctive relief anywhere.
